Andrea Rene currently hosts and writes for Clevver Games. Also listen for her on the Weekend Confirmed podcast from GameFly Media, available at Shacknews.com.


In addition to her hosting duties, Andrea is a full time producer for Clevver Media. She also does correspondent work for gaming site TheBitBag.com. Previously, Andrea reported for Mahalo Video Games Today, This Week in Video Games, This Week in iPad, and more. She has tested video games, done game reviews, covered E3 and GDC, and competed in gaming competitions. Andrea’s been featured on GameTrailers TV, The Totally Rad Show, Weekend Confirmed, Sarcastic Gamer, and The HipHopGamer Show among others.


She has been to numerous red carpet premieres and interviewed celebrities such as Hilary Swank, Jerry Seinfeld, Tony Hawk, Olivia Munn, Anthony Hopkins, Jennifer Hale, Guerillmo del Torro and more! She previously wrote and hosted for the Vlaze Media Networks on “Get the Daily” and on “The Daily Dose,” which streamed live online 5 days a week. Plus, she has worked on a travel show, a talk show, and even a dating game show!


Andrea was born and raised in Fargo, ND and moved to Minneapolis and graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Minnesota. (B.A. Journalism) Her honors thesis took a detailed look at the images of women in hip-hop music and how they affect young women's perspectives on sexuality.


She eventually moved to Los Angeles to continue her career in producing and TV hosting.


A former fitness instructor, Andrea's passions include hiking and soccer, but she also loves to travel and can spend hours playing video games (of course!). As known to anyone who crosses her path, this fiery redhead always has something to say and will be sure to let you know.
